Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is your delivery time for custom labels?

A: New items normally take 8-12 days depending on what type of material, adhesive, and operations need to be done. Simple custom labels take the shortest time, and more complex custom labels, longer. This time is from the time we receive suitable electronic art. Repeat orders usually take from 5-8 days from receipt of order. Artwork approval for new items is required in a timely fashion, 1-2 working days, in order to meet the shipping date.


Q: Do you have a rush jobs program?

A: Yes, we can ship labels in 1-5 days for a small charge depending on the size of the run.


Q: Does NEQP have order forms, quotation forms, samples, etc. to make it easier to get a quote, or place an order?

A: Yes, we do and this information pack is free, just call and ask for it from one of our customer service representative. We also have an On-Line Quote Form for fastest service.


Q: Is there a charge for Pantone colors?

A: NEQP has a wide range of Pantone colors to pick from. There is no charge if you pick one of these colors. There is a flat charge of $45 if you want a Pantone color not on the list.


Q: How should we send you the artwork?

A: The artwork can be sent over the internet to our pre-press department. We prefer electronic art. You can send us an unfinished sketch, and our art department can send you a proof for approval prior to running. Click here to see our Art Work Requirements page.


Q: What are the credit terms?

A: The first order is pre-paid. We will send you a credit application so we can place you on open terms on orders in the future. Our open terms are 1% discount 15 days, net 20 days. We accept Visa, Master Card and American Express.


Q: How do I find out what's the best material to use for my application?

A: Talk with one of our customer service representatives. Provide the following information: what is the label being applied to; how long will it need to stay on; is it being applied in below freezing conditions; will it go into freezing conditions after; is the label going outdoors and subject to UV sunlight; will it be subject to harsh conditions such as cleaning solvents, etc.; is it being placed on a flat, smooth surface, or small diameter curved surfaces. All of these factors will determine what is the best pressure sensitive product to use. We will also send you samples of the pressure sensitive product(s) we recommend. It is very important for you or your customer to test these samples, first before placing an order.


Q: Does NEQP use pressure sensitive paper materials only?

A: No, we use in addition to all types of pressure sensitive paper materials, vinyl pressure sensitive, polyesters, polypropylene, aluminum, latex, kimdura, tyvek, acetates, holographic films to name a few of the exotic type materials available. These films meet the needs of demanding applications, and applications where the label has to be permanent for many years (10 or more years).


Q: Can NEQP print random or consecutive number, or bar code data on labels?

A: Yes, we have many different methods to print on a variety of surfaces, random data, consecutive numbers, bar code data, etc. Send us drawings and details so we can assist and quote you.


Q: Can NEQP make up a small test lot on blank stock for me or my customer to test?

A: Yes, and no charge, just ask a customer service representative.


Q: How does NEQP ship out orders?

A:UPS, FedEx, Airborne, DHL, and truck deliveries to local customers are the most common. We also ship under your name to your customer. NEQP's name or address does not appear on any of the shipping information.


Q: Does NEQP print 4 color process, graduated screens, or halftones?

A: Yes, our method of printing is called flexography, and we can send you samples.


Q: How about hot stamp or embossing?

A: Yes, let us send you our sample pack anytime.
